Don’t have access to your Google Ads account? No problem, here’s how to correctly request it.
If you're working with a team, an agency, or have inherited an account, it’s possible you don’t yet have access to the Google Ads account associated with your business.
Not to worry! Gaining access is simple, and we’ll walk you through it.
📨 Step 1: Get the Google Ads Customer ID
You’ll need the 10-digit Customer ID (e.g.123-456-7890) of the account you’re requesting access to.
💡 This can be found in the top-right corner of any Google Ads account screen.
If you're unsure who manages the account, ask your marketing team, agency, or former account manager.
🤝 Step 2: Ask the Account Owner to Grant Access
Send them this message (feel free to copy/paste):
